On one of our many shopping trips before this large hike we are doing, Jess and I bought these wonderful little things called Buffs. For those of you who have ever seen Survivor ( don´t kid yourself, you all have), they are the small pieces of polyester that are given to the contestants, and used at bandanas, or shirts by the skinny ones. Anyway, they have proven to be very useful the last few weeks in some previously unsuspected ways.......
1. Make-shift tensor bandage for shin splints
2. Buffer between hand and walking stick to prevent hand blisters
3. Shower cap
4. Putting over your hands to avoid touching germy things
5. Wearing over your eyes/ears when you sleep in hostels, keeps the light and noise out!
Please note: items #1 and 2 have the potential to create very strange tan lines, use with caution.

waiiiit a minute, what timezone are you in?? haha its like 1 oclock here, you wrote this at 645... have you walked through any time zones yet? The Screamer also sounds like one of the better things that could have happened in a hostel in the middle of the night, i would follow him around if i were you...
I have to say, I really thought the "screamer" was going to be about an overly-passionate sexually escapade by someone in the hostel. Nevertheless, that's hilarious. Poor guy.
Have you tried using the bluff as a parachute to pull you along the trails when your feet get sore?
Jess, that sausage looks amazing.
Chris
Hmmm, it only says CH when I post now, as supposed to Chris Hofley. Just so y'all know.
Screamers was a good movie, sleeping in the same room as a dude nigthmare screamer is not good, but hillarious...poor guy.
Those pictures are amazing...and holy cow you guys have done alot of walking in the past few days! Soooo happy I got to catch up before i'm off for the weekend! I was in withdrawl..lol
You guys should think of a nice little reputation to make for yourselves...lol
hmmm, Crazy shouldnt be a hard one :D
Have a great weekend :)

So wait...you use it to touch "germy things," then place it over your face...don't want to make you rethink your strategies, but don't get pink eye Becky.
