Soggy Bordeaux
After too many hours of travelling, we arrived in Bordeaux beyond tired. After a little bit of getting lost (and also groceries) we found a lovely little hotel.
But why am I explaining it when I can just show you?
Ok, so I dont have blogger down to a science... and I dont know where the apostrophe is, but I promise, Ill get better at this.
Were off to St. Jean Pied de Port today. Time to get going... please god dont give me blisters.
DirtyPilgrims.com is not what it sounds like. Joke's on you, perv.
But seriously, folks: Becky and Jess are two Canadian girls embarking on a six-week-long walk across Spain. For us, the 800-900km route begins in a small, French town called St. Jean Pied du Port and ends in Santiago (but extends to the coastal town of Finesterre if we have the energy).
El Camino de Santiago has religious origins and translates into English as "the Way of St. James". Nowadays, the Christian Pilgrimage route is followed by thousands of people each year for many different reasons. Read our blog to find out why we've chosen to take on this crazy endeavor.
